The Gallery at the Borrego Art Institute not only supports local artists by providing workshops and a distinctive place to show their work, but it also attracts artists from throughout the world. Shows change monthly during the season, which means we can present a wide variety of world-class art that attracts visitors to Borrego Springs — visitors who are amazed by the incredibly beautiful gallery  venue right in the middle of the Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

Artist Information

What better place to exhibit your work than in our beautiful gallery!

We encourage artists of all levels to present your work for consideration in a show that fits your theme or medium. We are adamant that all work be presented with a professional look: clean, in good condition, and ready for hanging or displaying on a pedestal. Wall art must have wire on the back for our hook-and-cable hanging system. Need help? We will be happy to instruct you on the proper method of installing wire.

We hang about 11 shows per year, only two of which are by invitation only — our annual Plein Air Invitational and the Expressions in the Abstract exhibition. For the other shows, we welcome entries from all artists. Go to the Information for Artists page to read about a given show’s requirements, then send your information and images of your work to gallery@borregoartinstitute.org. If accepted, we will email you an entry form.

If you show with us regularly, then you only need to let us know you are entering and the size of your work.

Members of the BAI do not pay an entry fee, consider becoming a member!
